This is a 12 week course for ages 16+ and takes place on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm from Mark Hall Sports Centre for approximately 1 hour or less.
This course aims to take a novice from running 0.25 of a Mile to 5 miles over the course of a 12-week program. You should have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to run at least one lap of the track on week 1.
Please seek GP medical advice in advance if you have any doubts/health concerns before signing up for our course.
Please note this course is NOT a “Couch to 5k” course. We would recommend that you are able to do the couch to 5K before looking at signing up for our running course.
Upon completion, you should be more than capable of joining in with the normal Harlow Running Club Sessions, you will become a member of the club (included in course fee, and receive a free t-shirt)
Please sign up in advance to avoid disappointment as the course has a limit of 24 people. The course is dependent on numbers, so if we do not have a full course it will be cancelled, and you will be advised to book onto the next planned course later in the year.
