Harlow Running Club Juniors


Coaching of Junior members is undertaken by Harlow Athletic Club coaches.

Juniors join the Athletic Club and a proportion of their fee is paid to the Running Club for membership to compete, mainly in Cross Country events in the winter.

  • 4th February - Southern Inter Counties Schools Champs

    Harlow Running Club's April Eastwood finished in 32nd place in the under 15 race at the Southern Inter Counties Schools championships at Southampton on the 4th February and was 10th Essex finisher. A few days earlier Hannah Whellams came 17th out of a field of 244 in the Essex Schools under 14 girls Cross Country Championship at Hylands Park Chelmsford, but unfortunately missed out by one place on qualifying to run for Essex in the inter-counties.

  • 22nd January - April qualifies for Essex

    In the Essex Schools Cross Country Championship Junior Girls race over a course of 3.5k on 21st January, April Eastwood finished an excellent 15th place out of a 100 plus starters and has qualified to run for Essex in the Southern Inter Counties at Southampton in two weeks time (Feb 4th).
