For those of you who are running a marathon in the spring may be interested in a series of marathon training runs hosted by Gede valley harriers in Hemel Hemstead. They are mainly aimed at the London event  but could be useful for runners who have entered alternative marathons. They take place on a monthly basis increasing in distance from 12, 17 and 20 miles and there is no need to pre-register just sign up on the day. I haven't done these myself but have heard good reports about them.
