Georgina, Silverstone is a very good event and you will be certainly fitter come the day than at Great Bentley. One thing to watch out for though is you are almost certain to run further than 13.1 miles at Silverstone (my Garmin read 13.36 at Silverstone vs 13.15 at GB) as it is very hard to run the racing line due to the width of the track and weaving through the crowds. As ~0.2 of a mile is ~1min 36 seconds at an 8 min/mile you may need to be this much faster.. | |

BEGINNERS: Harlow Running Club are currently taking bookings for their beginners sessions in 2012. Courses last 8 weeks, cost £16 and are held at Mark Hall Sports Centre on Tuesday nights at 6.30pm-7.30pm.
