Hello Harlow Running Club, I hope you are all well and that the London Marathon ballot was successful for you! If anyone received a place either through Good For Age or the Ballot and would like to run for St Clare Hospice, we would all be absolutely delighted for the support. We currently only receive 24% funding from the NHS towards our £2.6m annual running costs. That is £5,414 a day we have to raise! Therefore any support would be very much appreciated. We do have a few Gold Bond places and I have set the deadline of Wednesday 19th October to receive application forms for them. If anyone in the club was unsuccessful in the ballot and would like to run for the hospice, attached is an application form that can be completed and returned to me. We do ask for a minimum sponsorship pledge of £1,500. Any questions, please get in touch! BEGINNERS: Harlow Running Club are currently taking bookings for their beginners sessions in 2012. Courses last 8 weeks, cost £16 and are held at Mark Hall Sports Centre on Tuesday nights at 6.30pm-7.30pm.
