The Royston 10K was actually the first race I ever ran, back in June 2009.  I did it in 43:09 after which I got steadily faster....until about October 2010 since when I've got steadily fatter & slower.  43:09 looks pretty quick now lol, my fastest this year is at least a minute slower than that....

Anyway, for anyone who's never ran it, so you have an idea what to expect, here are my splits.  Expect a downhill start & finish with a climb from 2-3k & a nasty climb after 8K.

Overall it's an OK course I think, some people have done PBs on it.

1 3:55

2 4:38

3 4:38

4 3:58

5 4:16

6 4:27

7 4:19

8 4:11

9 4:50

10 3:49

GL!

Accurate description Adrian.

Although supposedly officially measured at 10K, most people with Garmins found this to be ~9.9K where they are normally slightly long...

For this reason, although Royston is technically my PB, I tend to treat Harlow of the same year as my 'true' PB

Did this last night and I enjoyed the route even though didn't get a PB.  My Garmin reads 6.22 miles. Well done to everyone, good turn out!

I quite liked the course, it had its up hills but also lots of downhill sections. No hill was too severe either.

Matt Jones commented that they moved the finish by some 50-100 metres or so, so they must have correct the anomaly.
