Us too, we have been rejected, got the nice jackets though. Congrats to Karen and John, we'll be there with the jelly babies!
We are considering doing the Paris Marathon, has anyone done this?

I didn't get in through the ballot but I managed to get a charity place running for IT4CH, they provide computer equipment to hospital schools for children that are sick in hospital so they can continue with their education.
I am allowed to nominate the hospital who gets computer equipment so I have chosen Princess Alexander Hospital in Harlow.
So...The shameless begging for sponsorship money starts here! ;-)

Is there certain things you have had to of done in the year to be eligible for the London Marathon ballot i.e. help marshal as x number of races. Run for the club in x races. Is that right?

Dan yes, but they are not too draconian...
Something like participate in 2 races (from XC, MWL, Champonship) or Marshal at least one at the XC, MWL, Harlow 10. Tis somewhere on here.... I'll dig t out out and confirm... | |

HARLOW 10: We are now accepting entries for the Harlow 10, to be held on Sunday 22nd July. Further details can be found here...
BEGINNERS: Harlow Running Club are currently taking bookings for their beginners sessions in 2012. Courses last 8 weeks, cost £16 and are held at Mark Hall Sports Centre on Tuesday nights at 6.30pm-7.30pm.
