I've just received an email to say the HBO 10k is now fully booked.

"This year the HBO 10k road race is full and all available numbers and chips have been allocated. So it is going to be a really good day out for you all. The last Race Numbers with their Chips were sent out today (Monday) and should have arrived by Wednesday. Below I quote your number, team and race category. If any are wrong please contact admin@hbo-10k.org.uk as soon as you can. If there is a problem with the number we need to know in time to get a replacement chip from Champion Chip, the deadline for this is noon on Thursday. We expect to be very busy at the admin desk on Monday so please ensure that you email if you have a problem so that we can have a solution available for you. If you haven't emailed us it is unlikely that we will be able to sort your problem on the day.

I repeat that the race is fully booked, which means that it will be a lot busier than previous years. This means that it is important to get here early, there is sure to be some congestion on the roads and at the cars parks. Those arriving last will take the longest to park up, and may have to walk further to get to the course. Please don't risk being late for the race as we can't then give you a time."

I hope everyone got in that wanted to run.

Dan

Linda, you naughty woman-HBO is a club championship race, the Bupa 10 K isn't...

Anyway, that was me that beeped you the other day at the lights near the Esso garage  ;)

Hi Georgina

6 people who have dropped out of the race that I know of.  Is everyone raced out, or injured?  :/

Is there any meetup for carshare/convoy for this one, or are we all just making our own way there?

Crud. Another miserable failure :(

Here's something interesting.  Jared finished just 10 seconds behind the first lady finisher.  This is her somewhat impressive resume....
